Upgrade your gallery fun experience with friends / part 2

accompanied by friend(s)

Either planned to visit the gallery or as a spontaneous plan before the next thing on the schedule.

“I don’t mind to accompany you. I have some free time.” You may have made a good decision to go for activities beyond your routine as it could potentially invite an unexpected outcome. It could inspire you somehow in another aspect of your life. Otherwise, it can be a good bonding activity you share with your friends or you’d like to get to know your date better in an aesthetic setting.

1st step: tune in the attitude

Fun is the key to leisure activity. I assume we do not want to feel judged while hanging out with friends so that the person can open up more. Be creative and playful with your companion. Do what makes thing interesting.

2nd step: be creative with game ideas

When new ideas come up, it opens up the potential to understand the other person better.

We should enjoy and have fun with the game we agreed to play and the rules.

>Look for a random object. Whoever the 1st finds the object in the exhibition and returns to the same spot has 1 point and has a right to suggest the next object to find. The game goes on until either of the party gets bored.
>Guess the quantity of artwork for the exhibition. Whoever guesses the closest to the actual number, the other person has to buy a drink or do a food treat afterwards.
>Calculate the number of the same objects seen within the artwork. It works for realistic detailed artwork.
>Point of the suggested colour seen in the same artwork within 3 seconds. The spot cannot be repeated. It takes turns between the involved parties failed to do so. Then it changes of suggested colour or ends the game.
etc….

The above game ideas are just examples. I’d like to know more interesting ones, please share your idea in the comment section.

3rd: be playful with questions

Sometimes we just want something extra than having a fun time together. Asking questions may be positive for bonding with the person. However, we do not need a serious boring interview with friends or a date.

>What character do you think best suited your personality you found in this exhibition?
>If you could take one thing from this exhibition for free, what would you pick?
>Which artwork catches your attention the most? and some follow-up ones.
>What does this abstract piece remind you of?
>How would you feel if you were struck in this exhibition space for a night?
>Imagine all the faces in this painting changed to a duck face, how hilarious and silly it could be? Could it be sold for a million and give me a credit for it?
>If this figurative painting can talk, what would the characters talk about?
>If you were an artist, what art style would you get involved in?

The questions above may seem silly but fun in a sense. As you can see if you were vibing with the person, and understand how the person takes things in a casual setting, their perspective through response, personalities, etc.
